About the chef
Growing up in Italy, Luigi di Benedetto was instilled with a love and passion for food from an early age. Although French cuisine is the foundation of his culinary journey, Luigi has worked and found inspiration all over the world.

“Wauw this was quite an experience! Everything, but everything was top notch. I organised a baby shower for a friend and we sat together outside in the sun. Such a beautiful serene place (also inside is definitely recommended). The service is amazing. Something you will not find often in Amsterdam anymore. “Chapeau! Top quality and very cozy and costumer friendly. Last Friday we had a lovely dinner at Spring Cafe Brasserie. This brasserie is part of the beautiful Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel (5 stars). The food and the wines were in one word fantastic. Real flavour explosions and the passion for hospitality is evident. Also the service is very pleasant and professional. We have had dinner in many top restaurants before, Spring Cafe Brasserie belongs to the top. A true gem for Amsterdam. Definitely recommended as far as we are concerned.”
